The short version

This site collects your e-mail address if you choose to subscribe to release notifications, and cookieless aggregate visit statistics (via GoatCounter). Nothing identifies you personally: no cookies, no advertising, no cross-site tracking.

Who is responsible

The data controller is microgolem d.o.o., a company registered in Croatia, operating Alginte. Contact for anything privacy-related: info@alginte.com.

Release notifications (e-mail)

If you subscribe on this site, we store your e-mail address and use it for one purpose: telling you about new Alginte releases (and, as announced next to the form, the Professional edition launch). The legal basis is your consent, given when you subscribe and confirmed by the opt-in e-mail. Every message contains an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing removes you from the list.

The list is managed by MailerLite (EU-based), acting as our processor — the signup form on this site is served by MailerLite and may set cookies needed for the form to function.

Visit statistics (analytics)

We use GoatCounter to count page views in aggregate: which pages are visited, from which referring site, browser family, and country. It sets no cookies, does not follow you across sites, and does not build visitor profiles; we cannot identify you from it. GoatCounter processes your IP address and user agent transiently to count a visit as unique, without storing them (see the GoatCounter privacy policy). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding, in aggregate, which parts of the site are useful.

Hosting

The site is static and served by Amazon Web Services (AWS Amplify/CloudFront), which processes standard technical server logs (IP address, request, user agent) to deliver the site securely; we do not use these logs to identify visitors.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time (unsubscribing does exactly that). Write to info@alginte.com — and you always have the right to complain to your supervisory authority (in Croatia: AZOP).

If this notice changes, the new version appears here with an updated date.
